LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a direct hire role with a reputable company located in Collegeville, PA.

Location : Collegeville, PA

Salary : $65-$70k

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct monthly reconciliations of all general ledger accounts.
• Support the Controller in month-end closure and the preparation of financial statements.
• Handle sales tax filings for both the United States and Canada.
• Calculate and distribute sales commissions to external sales representatives.

Accounts Receivable :

• Collaborate with the order processing team to expedite invoice delivery to customers.
• Ensure accurate application of cash receipts to customer accounts.
• Oversee the management and accounting of customer rebates and allowances, including necessary accruals.
• Address and resolve payment disputes on e-commerce platforms.

Accounts Payable :

• Process and verify accounts payable invoices.
• Direct invoices to the appropriate team member for approval.
• Execute weekly check runs and electronic payments.

Additional Duties :

Undertake various ad-hoc projects as required.

Minimum Requirements :

• Preferred : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
• A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
• Experience in the distribution / manufacturing sector is an advantage.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics.
• Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
