LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking a Staff Accountant for a direct hire role with a reputable company located in Collegeville, PA.
Location : Collegeville, PA
Salary : $65-$70k
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of all general ledger accounts.
- Support the Controller in month-end closure and the preparation of financial statements.
- Handle sales tax filings for both the United States and Canada.
- Calculate and distribute sales commissions to external sales representatives.
Accounts Receivable :
- Collaborate with the order processing team to expedite invoice delivery to customers.
- Ensure accurate application of cash receipts to customer accounts.
- Oversee the management and accounting of customer rebates and allowances, including necessary accruals.
- Address and resolve payment disputes on e-commerce platforms.
Accounts Payable :
- Process and verify accounts payable invoices.
- Direct invoices to the appropriate team member for approval.
- Execute weekly check runs and electronic payments.
Additional Duties :
Undertake various ad-hoc projects as required.
Minimum Requirements :
- Preferred : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience.
- Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel, including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions.
- Experience in the distribution / manufacturing sector is an advantage.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics.
- Capable of working autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
