Job Summary :

The Product development engineer is a key member of the R&D Team in the US, participating in the decision-making of R&D programs and issues, fueling the innovation pipelines, and systematically solving key marketplace problems and difficulties encountered in the execution.

Essential Job Responsibilities :

  • Taking comprehensive responsibility for gas water heater products and technology development.
  • Formulate relevant technical plans based on market and customer insights as well as finding forward-looking technologies for future platforms.
  • Drive continuous improvement and cost improvements.
  • Analyze and improve on quality issues, aiming to enhance product reliability and customer satisfaction continuously.
  • Gather, interpret, and internalize relevant product policies and regulations ensuring product compliance.

Qualifications :

  • Hold a mechanical engineering bachelor's degree or higher or relevant field.
  • Have experience in areas such as combustion and heat transfer.
  • 3+ years of work experience in product development of gas water heaters or related fields.
  • Have experience with development of burners, premixed gas, and / or instantaneous combustion systems or related fields.
  • Familiarity with interpreting and implementing design requirements of industry standards.
  • Possess strong organizational and coordination skills, demonstrate a strong service orientation, teamwork spirit, and a high level of execution capability.
  • Have independently led development projects from project initiation to market launch.

Technical Skills :

Proficient in SolidWorks, Creo, and other 3D CAD software
