We are currently seeking an Insulation Tech Assistant / Driver to join our team. In this role you would be helping the insulation tech in the set up, loading and operating of the insulation machine and responsible for driving company provided vehicle to and from the job site.
The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and be comfortable working in a variety of environments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive company vehicle to & from the job sites
- Set up any and all necessary equipment including loading vehicle and insulation machine
- Assist installation techs on job site to install baffles around the eaves inside attic
- Loading / feed of the insulation machine to assist insulation tech's spraying of insulation levels inside the attic
- Keep job site work area clean during and after the project
- Follow safety procedures and guidelines at all times
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry heavy materials (up to 50 pounds)
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights
- Ability to work in confined spaces
- Ability to wear personal protective equipment for extended periods of time
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Previous driver experience preferred
- Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record required
- Prior experience in construction industry or related field
- Ability to work in a variety of environments, including confined spaces and at heights
Compensation and Benefits
- $18.75 per hour
