Join our team as a Shipping and Receiving Coordinator. The primary role of this position is to administer and transact in a timely and accurate manner all shipping and receiving documents and process flow.
The Coordinator ensures all material and products are properly monitored and accounted for. A successful candidate is a detail oriented, customer service focused, problem solver with the ability to handle assignments efficiently and accurately with little supervision.
Responsibilities
- Assist with import and export duties
- Assist with receiving items
- Creating bills of lading, packing lists, and other shipping documents for all shipments
- Creating and updating receiving reports through Excel and Oracle
- Load and unload trailers.
Desired Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent / Associate degree or better preferred
- Forklift experience preferred but not required.
- Previous experience with 3PL organizations
- Previous exposure to logistics and transportation processes and practices
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle
- Knowledgeable of good safety practices and quality standards

Work Environment
- Must be able and comfortable to work in a heavy-industrial environment
- Must be able to walk to work locations 100% of the time
- Must be able to frequently bend, stoop, kneel and reach below / above shoulders to access equipment for repair
- Must be able to lift tools, parts and equipment up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Regularly required to stand, walk, talk, see, hear, reach, bend, and stoop. When receiving parcel shipments may need to lift up to 60 lbs
