The Denise Ibsen Farmers Insurance Agency in Woodland, CA is hiring Client Relations Specialists to join our growing team!
Our award-winning agency is growing rapidly and we're looking to add a talented Customer Relations Specialist to foster great relationships with our clients to ensure that they stay with our agency for a lifetime.
As an independently owned agency, we offer multiple lines of coverage for our customers from both Farmers and other carriers, as needed, to provide protection, risk management, and asset growth services to our valued clients.

How do I know if this is NOT the position for me? This would not be the right role for someone who lacks tenacity or strong problem-solving skills.
This role would also not be a great fit for someone who lacks attention to detail or who doesn't like interacting with people.

Will I have to sell insurance? While this is primarily a customer support role, ALL positions within any insurance agency include a measure of "sales.
However, this position is primarily a customer support role. Our expectation is that all of our team members are insurance professionals and able to have consultative conversations with our clients and with any potential new clients that visit our office or call in to help identify any potential gaps in their coverage and to offer solutions.
What can I reasonably expect to make in the first year? Our compensation plan is unmatched in the marketplace. We offer a base salary with uncapped commission and attractive bonuses.
If you follow our sales and service process, you will make a minimum of the range listed in the job posting in your first year.
As you become more experienced, your income opportunities will exponentially increase.

Once it is complete, you will receive a second email with a link to schedule a phone interview with our agency owner. It is your responsibility to call in at the appointed time.

Responsibilities
The responsibilities of our Client Relations Specialist are :
- Maintain a positive mindset while interacting with customers, both internal and external, even under the most stressful and challenging situations.
- Respond to all client inquiries within one business day.
- Acquire 20 positive online reviews or 20 referrals per month.
- Assist clients with adding coverage, identifying gaps in coverage, and processing policy changes.
- Answer incoming and make outgoing calls to clients, as well as text. and email correspondence
- Document all activity and maintain a database of current customers. (Our CRMs and Customer data are electronic so having strong computer and typing skills is important.
Familiarity with Microsoft 365 products is a plus).

Requirements
The requirements for holding the Client Relations Specialist position are :
- Proven track record of trustworthiness, dependability, and ethical behavior
- Must either possess or be able to obtain within first 60 days of employment California Property & Casualty and Life, Health & Accident Insurance Licenses (reimbursement for expenses opportunity available based on performance).
- Must be coachable
- Excellent communication skills including written, verbal, and listening skills.
- Ability to follow processes and to prioritize multiple tasks with divergent needs.
- Must possess typing, computer, and customers service skills.
