Engineering Operations Manager

Our client, a prominent international engineering consultancy with expertise in mining and mineral processing solutions, is looking for a seasoned Engineering Operations Manager to join their headquarters team. This strategic leadership position provides the chance to oversee daily operations across engineering, design, and project delivery teams while cultivating essential partnerships within the mining industry. The role involves site visits to client locations and presents excellent career advancement prospects with the possibility of advancing to executive leadership positions within their expanding Tucson facility.

Team Leadership & Management

Team Leadership & Management

  • Conduct performance evaluations and oversee staffing needs
  • Provide daily operational leadership to engineering, design, and project teams
  • Support team members in their career advancement and provide mentorship
  • Oversee and develop direct reports spanning various engineering disciplines
  • Create a collaborative work environment and drive continuous performance enhancement

Project Management & Execution

Project Management & Execution

  • Oversee project schedules, financial planning, and resource distribution
  • Establish and uphold organizational standards for superior project delivery
  • Guide and supervise various engineering initiatives from start to finish
  • Successfully complete ongoing projects and facilitate seamless initiation of new ventures
  • Guarantee all projects are delivered comprehensively and in accordance with organizational and engineering protocols

    • Client Partnership Development

    Client Partnership Development

  • Identify emerging business opportunities and contribute to business development initiatives
  • Maintain and nurture strong partnerships with key client stakeholders
  • Act as the main liaison for significant client accounts
  • Conduct client site visits (2-6 days monthly) for project monitoring and relationship cultivation
  • Deliver outstanding client service and ensure complete satisfaction
