Job Description

As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol - Full Time in Zeeland, MI , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic food and beverage location. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This role requires driving as part of your patrol responsibilities, so a valid driver's license is necessary. What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites

  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the location to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Report any suspicious activity, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and patrols as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Assist with access control by verifying identification and / or credentials as needed.
  • Support emergency response activities in accordance with site-specific procedures and Allied Universal guidelines.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
