Responsibilities : Assessment and Diagnosis : Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and formulate accurate diagnoses.
Individual and Group Therapy : Provide evidence-based, client-centered therapy to individuals, couples, and groups, addressing a range of mental health concerns.
Treatment Planning : Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and strategies for achieving them.
Crisis Intervention : Respond to and manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other relevant records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
Collaboration : Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, consulting with psychiatrists, case managers, and other professionals to provide holistic care to clients.
Professional Development : Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and treatment modalities through continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications : Licensure : Must hold a valid and active license in the state as an LICSW, LGSW, LISW, LCPC, LGPC, LMFT, or APRN.
Experience : Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred. Expertise : Specialization in specific therapeutic modalities (e.
g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) or experience with diverse populations is a plus. Empathy and Cultural Competence : Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and the ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
