Responsibilities :
- Assessment and Diagnosis : Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' mental health needs and formulate accurate diagnoses.
- Individual and Group Therapy : Provide evidence-based, client-centered therapy to individuals, couples, and groups, addressing a range of mental health concerns.
- Treatment Planning : Collaborate with clients to develop comprehensive treatment plans that outline therapeutic goals and strategies for achieving them.
- Crisis Intervention : Respond to and manage crisis situations effectively, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
- Documentation : Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation, including progress notes, treatment plans, and other relevant records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Collaboration : Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, consulting with psychiatrists, case managers, and other professionals to provide holistic care to clients.
- Professional Development : Stay informed about the latest developments in mental health research and treatment modalities through continuous learning and professional development.
Qualifications :
- Licensure : Must hold a valid and active license in the state as an LICSW, LGSW, LISW, LCPC, LGPC, LMFT, or APRN.
- Experience : Minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience preferred.
- Expertise : Specialization in specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR) or experience with diverse populations is a plus.
- Empathy and Cultural Competence : Strong interpersonal skills, cultural competence, and the ability to establish rapport with a diverse clientele.
- Ethical Practice : Adherence to ethical standards and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy.
- Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to convey complex therapeutic concepts in an understandable manner.
