Position Summary
Phoenix Childrens has a great opportunity in our groundbreaking research-based Allergy / Immunology Team. We treat diseases of the respiratory track such as allergic rhinitis, sinusitis, asthma, and strive for improvement in long term results.
The primary role of the Allergy Nurse will be working with oral food challenge patients and supporting other clinical treatments.
We offer allergen immunotherapy, biologic therapies, spirometry, skin testing, and establish specialized clinics to address specific patient diagnostic needs.
These specialized clinics give the applicant an opportunity to interact with various specialties such as Dermatology, Hematology, Gastroenterology, and Pulmonology.

This position, in collaboration with the healthcare team, patient, and family, coordinates and promotes patient health utilizing evidence-based practice in the delivery of professional nursing care across the care continuum.
This position advocates for the patient and family adhering to nursing and medical plans of care, regulatory standards, and organizational values.
Education
- Two year (ADN) degree in nursing, a four year degree (BSN) in nursing, or a Diploma Nursing degree. (Required)
- Bachelorâ€s degree in Nursing or currently enrolled in an RN to BSN program. (Preferred)
Experience
Pediatric experience. (Preferred)
Certifications
- Current State of Arizona RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure according to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
- Current BLS certification for Healthcare Provider from the American Heart Association. (Required)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition and Stabilization (PEARS) certification may be required within 90 days of entry into the position for select departments. (Preferred)
