Finance Director
Position Summary :
The Finance Director is responsible for all financial planning and analysis activity and provides strategic and tactical support to the company.
This role will conduct financial analysis, modeling, forecasting, and reporting efforts to ensure efficient financial operations.
Acts as the SME for the company for these processess.
Position Responsibilities :
- Build data models to accurately track and project future contractual performance based on varying assumptions
- Prepare proformas and pricing models for new business opportunities
- Develop regular reporting and analysis, including key metric reports, and conduct ad hoc financial analysis as required
- Interact with CHESS management to deliver strong financial planning across the short, medium, and long term
- Leading, defining, and performing complex financial analysis to explain variance drivers, identify trends, and call attention to opportunities to improve performance
- Participates in professional development activities and maintains professional affiliations.
- Serves as financial administrative liaison to value partners and payer partners
- Participates in committee meetings and board of directors’ meetings as required
- Works with outside actuarial partner
- Helps motivate all employees to work together as a team to generate a work atmosphere that maintains a positive attitude

- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of financial planning and analysis experience, including 3 years in a management role within a health care organization
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities
- Knowledge of computer systems and applications
- Highly organized, analytical and detail oriented
- Self-starter and persistent problem solver with the ability to make progress in a fast-paced environment
- Advanced knowledge and skills in developing and evaluating complex financial plans and strategies which support creating effective and successful business plans
- Deep knowledge of healthcare finance including value-based care models
- Knowledge of governmental and health care fiscal regulations and reporting requirements
- Proven ability to develop, define and execute complex financial analyses as well as build intricate models
