Our firm, The Christian Wyatt Group, is working in confidence with a highly successful Florida based community bank on a Regulatory Compliance Manager role.
This role will be based in Florida.
This role would come in as Regulatory Compliance Manager but has tremendous upside potential. It would report into the Sr.
Regulatory Compliance Manager but as a succession plan would be groomed to eventually take over that role in the future.
As Regulatory Compliance Manager you would act as an SME for all consumer compliance matters (the alphabet soup) as you help lead and direct the compliance group.
This includes working closely with senior management and LOB partners within the bank as well as helping with internal / external audit and regulatory exams.
Our client has someone handling CRA, Fair Lending and BSA / AML so this role does not have direct responsibility for those areas, but any knowledge / experience certainly is appreciated and can be utilized.
The Ideal candidate will have 8+ years of consumer compliance experience working in a financial institution. Preference is on someone who has supervisory / management experience, but we will consider a strong SME with the traits to be a leader.
Need to be able to work and make autonomous decisions. CRCM distinction is preferred but not required if you have the necessary knowledge and experience for the role.
This is a successful, well capitalized bank with smart bankers, but remain humble, and love hiring team players with an all-hands-on deck mentality.
You will be surrounded by strong leadership within the Compliance department.
Their footprint goes from Florida to Georgia to Alabama. The bank is independent, is looking to build infrastructure, and continue to grow through M&A as well as organically.
This role would be based in Florida. (Relocation assistance is provided). Remote work is not a possibility.
