Position Summary : CVS Pharmacy, Inc., a CVS Health company, is hiring for the following role in Woonsocket, RI : Senior Manager, Inventory Analytics to plan, initiate, and manage the processes that support the pharmaceutical replenishment and enterprise software and information technology (IT) projects.

• Duties include : determine course of action due to business changes, continuous improvement of our inventory management processes, system change requirements and testing, KPI reporting, monitoring and management;
• monitor the supply chain key performance metrics to identify store and product volume shifts, creating short-term and long-term inventory strategies around changes in the business;
• provide analytical support to the Rx Inventory Management team via in-depth reporting and insights; manage colleagues who data mine large datasets across various databases nd performing root-cause diagnostics to identify opportunities and recommend solutions that improve inventory efficiency, customer service and workflow activities;
• perform root cause analysis and provide summary and recommendation for course of action; determine data driven next best action based on relevant information in support of business changes;
• product sourcing changes, supply constraints, insurance plan changes, seasonality, new product introductions, etc.; create models that help highlight impact of business changes and monitor the effectiveness of mitigation efforts in support of business changes;
• identify opportunities to improve reporting and data components to support the Rx Inventory Management team; advance the teams analytical capabilities, root cause diagnostic framework and SQL coding skills;

and mentor junior team members. Telecommuting available. Multiple positions. - Requirements : Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering Management, or a related field and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.

• Also requires two (2) years of experience with each of the following : business and data analytics; SQL programming and PL / SQL;
• developing analytical tools; ETL processes; data management environments, including SQL Developer or Oracle Client 11g; root cause analysis and cross-functional analysis;
• design and conduct complex ad-hoc analyses with a high degree of independence; projects with analysis and reporting related to root cause, performance trending, and value assessment;

and communicating statistical analysis results, concepts, and recommendations. Telecommuting available. Pay Range : $83262.

00 / year to $170800.00 / year.

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
