Position Summary :

As the HR Analytics Senior Manager, you will join the Operations Team to support program metrics and success criteria definition and measurement.

This includes targeting efficiency improvements, understanding system adoption, root cause analysis and trending, and providing meaningful metrics to ensure the program is working on the right things at the right time.

This position will require continuous collaboration / consultation with leaders, contributors, and various stakeholders to ensure the desired business transformation is defined and achieved.

You will accomplish this through :

  • Creating strategic design of reports, supporting technology updates to case management system that will yield better insights to the business units and to Employee Relationship leaders
  • Conducting analysis and sharing insights with proposed actions
  • Developing and managing Employee Relations with other HR COE and CVS Health departments; you may lead Employee Relationship initiatives that are outcomes of the data insights
  • Providing Employee Relation colleagues with guidance on problem analysis, solution validation, risk management, issue resolution / escalation and stakeholder engagement
  • Assisting with building out the learning agenda for Employee Relations; identifying what we want to learn from the data and then building analysis models to support the learning
  • Helping to leverage advanced analytics (machine learning) to train models that helps to ensure improved quality and adherence to policies

Required Qualifications :

  • 7+ years of relevant experience
  • 2+ years’ experience utilizing Tableau with data engineering of different views and dashboards within in the Tableau system
  • 2+ years’ experience manipulating backend data from multiple sources to create reports / dashboards providing in-depth trending and insights analysis within the Tableau system and / or PowerPoint presentations
  • 2+ years’ experience of analytics tools / languages such as Tableau, SAS, Alteryx, etc. to analyze large data sets from multiple data sources
  • 3+ years’ experience in design and creation of visual tools to align metrics with strategic priorities (e.g., performance and adoption dashboards.)
  • 2+ years’ experience with analysis of structured and unstructured data to solve multiple and / or complex business problems
  • 2+ years’ experience in advanced ability to transform data, understand patterns, and draw conclusions in a hypothesis driven approach to analysis
  • 2+ years’ experience to design creative solutions while always thinking about the big picture
  • 2+ years’ experience translating business terms into complex reporting and data requirements into simplified business needs and requirements
  • 5+ years’ experience as a business intelligence or analytics role within a large-scale company or fast-paced environment (preferably operations analytics)
  • 3+ years’ experience analytical experience using SQL or related data query systems, such as Teradata, R or Python, used for extraction and manipulation of data
  • 5+ years’ experience of proficiency with data manipulation tools including Excel
  • 3+ years’ experience working knowledge of data visualization best practices and tools such as Tableau
  • 2+ years’ experience with data warehouse platforms and / or Hadoop
  • 3+ years’ experience proven project management skills
  • 3+ years’ experience presenting complex data and analysis to non-technical audiences, and providing different views for different levels (e.

g., executive vs. end user)

  • 3+ years’ experience partnering with business owners to understand requirements, develop project timelines and deliver data sets or analysis on time
  • 4+ years’ experience excellent problem-solving skills and ability to construct analytic solutions to business problems

Preferred Qualifications :

  • 2+ years’ experience working in human resources environment
  • Experience with end-to-end execution of projects through the life cycle; developing measurement plans, data processing, data exploration and providing strategic and actionable recommendations
  • Working knowledge of health care industry products / services and operations
  • Experience conducting data analysis in healthcare settings
  • Proficiency with open-source program languages like R and Python
  • Digital analytics (Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics) experience is a plus
  • Safe Agile experience
  • Willingness / ability to learn and / or explore certification on various systems / methodologies

Education :

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent year's of work experience
  • Master’s Degree preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is :

$75,400.00 - $174,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.

This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
