The Food Service Director oversees our culinary teams and strives to provide the best culinary experience and ensure satisfaction is a top priority.
As acting Dietary Manager, you will plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the dietary department in accordance with current state, federal, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations.
This position is responsible for ensuring that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe, and sanitary manner.

You will earn :
- Starting wages - $55,000 - $60,000 per year

How you will help people every day :
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Culinary Department, its programs, and activities.
- Coordinate culinary services and activities with other related departments.
- Maintain the department budget and forecasts, including written records for the department expenditures and assure that adequate financial records are submitted per policy.
- Assume administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability of supervising the Culinary Services Department.
- Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every daily interaction with our guests, their families, and visitors.

- Work with the dietitian to provide quality nutritional services.
- Ensure that appropriate levels of food supplies are available.
- Order supplies in a cost-effective and cost-efficient manner, as needed.
- Ensure equipment is maintained appropriately and, in conjunction with the Administrator, order replacement equipment, as necessary.
- Develop and administer the department budget.
What you will need to be part of our EPIC team :
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Dietary Manager Certification (CDM)
- 3+ years of related experience in a food service department; experience in a long-term or health care facility preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering Excellent, Passionate, Innovative care!
- You are a team player, dedicated to doing what it takes to support your team members and get the job done.
