Job Summary :
- Develop Target Accounts and Build large regional Customer accounts through development of mid-level regional customer base (companies ideally with repetitive annual roofing spend between $500K - $ million per year) Prospecting and Business Development will be required
- After identifying Target Accounts, define the structure of the organization and make calls to the various decision-makers to determine viability, then create a marketing plan for the account
- Generate Opportunities from Workbook accounts for the Regional Sales Team
- Deliver Proposals to Key Decision Makers and Negotiate Projects
- The Strategic Account Manager will place the right resource, SPM, APM, Regional Sales Manager, NAM or National VP, with the various other decision makers within an organization (where applicable)
- The Strategic Account Manager will maintain an understanding of the Open Paper and develop strong relationships with all Tier accounts within his / her workbook.
All open paper will have defined forecast strategy and action plan to close business
- The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for forecasting deals within Salesforce
- Limited travel throughout California & Arizona will be required to maintain relationships with Tier accounts
Candidate Qualifications :
- 10 years roofing / construction sales experience required
- Commercial or industrial account management experience required
- 3 years of customer service experience required
- Must have prior experience growing market share
- Strong communication / writing skills
- Time management skills
- Good relationship building skills
- Excellent follow-up skills
