Summary :
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Manager tolead our plant QA Department and Sanitation Team. The idealcandidate will have a strong background in food manufacturingquality systems and regulatory compliance.
You will ensure theplant meets all quality safety and regulatory standards providetraining and support to employees and collaborate with managers toachieve key goals.
Responsibilities :
- Supervise the plant QA Department andSanitation Team.
- Train and support plantemployees on Quality and GMP issues.
- ConductGMP and sanitation audits.
- Manage the plantsanitation program and order necessarysupplies.
- Collaborate daily with managers toachieve goals.
- Ensure SQF programcompliance.
- Track and address quality trendsand failures.
- Develop and maintain QualitySystems and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with safetystandards and OSHA regulations.
- Conductrequired safety and SQF training.
- Maintain apresence on the production floor.
- Review andapprove batch records raw material specs and certificates ofanalysis.
- Maintain nutritional information andweight control programs.
- Lead focus teams forquality and material issues.
- Work onsite duringscheduled hours.
Qualifications :
- BA / BS in Science Biological Science FoodScience or related field.
- 5 years in foodmanufacturing.
- manufacturingenvironment.
- SQF HACCP and PCQIcertifications.
- Compliance experience withregulatory agencies and audits.
- Strong writtendocumentation skills.
- Collaborative team playerwith strong communication skills.
- Knowledge offood manufacturing documents andregulations.
- Supervisory and organizationalskills.
- Proficient in computer applications(Word Excel PowerPoint).
- Bilingual inEnglish / Spanish is aplus.
