The Health & Safety Coach provides coaching and support to license-exempt early childhood education and care family and center-based providers to enhance the quality of care being provided to children.

The Health & Safety Coach also provides technical assistance to providers to meet required health and safety standards and conducts annual health and safety monitoring visits.

Candidate qualifications :

  • Associate's degree or higher in social work, customer service, data entry, or a related field, OR equivalent combination of two years' relevant college coursework and / or full-time work experience required.
  • Prior experience working in an early childhood or social work setting preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation required.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in your written communication required.

Job details :

  • Compensation : Range starts at $16.40 / hour; offers are commensurate with experience.
  • Benefits : Medical / dental / vision insurance, 3+ weeks paid time off in the first year including the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day (PTO increases with tenure);

11 paid holidays, supplemental insurance options, 401(k) with match (more benefits details here).

  • Location : Hybrid; home office will be in Granite City. Providers served in-person across counties in Southern Illinois.
  • Schedule : Full-time, hourly; general business hours.
  • Student Loan Forgiveness : Brightpoint is an approved agency for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
