Responsibilities :
- Study and interpret building plans, specifications, blueprints and process submittals.
- Prepare written correspondences to subcontractors and suppliers.
- Coordinate information flow between field personnel, subcontractors and design team.
- Work with support staff in distributing project data and documents to the project team.
- Utilize computer system to manage project milestones and documentation of each project.
- Review and examine the construction document packages to understand project scope requirements.
- Follow up with subcontractors to ensure timely submission of proposals.
- Review and evaluate subcontractor proposals.
- Prepare cost comparison charts.
- Attend bid site visits and follow up with proposal requests.
- Coordinate shop drawing submission and review process.
- Create and monitor project schedules.
- Maintain project drawings and specifications in the office.
- Maintain Request for Information, Additional Work Authorizations, submittals and contract drawings.
- Attend project meetings and maintain meeting minutes.
- Gather closeout materials and binders for submission to clients.
- Resolve all open issues.
- Prepare kick-off packages.
- Attend pre-construction meetings.
- Follow up on all punch list items.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or a related field of Engineering with 1 year of experience.
- Must have knowledge of building codes, zoning regulations & safety standards.
- Experience in preparing and reviewing construction or engineering reports as well as project administrative support.
- Demonstrated ability in reading construction drawings and proficient in using construction or engineering software.
- Construction Safety Certification required.
