100 000 - 120 000 plus bonus

Overview of the Assistant Controller role :
- The Assistant Controller will take over for the Controller upon retirement and report to the CFO
- Responsible for the day to day functions, month-end close, audit and financial reporting Supervising AP / AR and a staff accountant
- The Assistant Conytroller will foster a collaborative work environment while supporting and mentoring a team
- Post journal entries to the general ledger
- Prepare monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
- Interface with internal departments to compile financial data
- Compile financial data for corporate tax reporting
- Assist with annual physical inventory
- Standard job costing and assist with pricing increases
Preferred Qualifications for the Assistant Controller :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing industry
- Experience with standard cost and bills-of-material
