We do not have standardized recipes or central commissaries, instead, our chefs and managers are expected to stay abreast of current culinary trends and bring cutting edge food into their cafes.

Job Summary

The Cafe Chef will manage kitchen operations and lead meal preparation in line with our company standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and execute regular and specialized menus following company guidelines.
• Train staff in food preparation, safety protocols, and equipment use, ensuring compliance with health and sanitation regulations.
• Manage schedules for equipment maintenance, cleaning, and work areas.
• Oversee inventory to maintain essential supplies and cost efficiency.
• Adhere to all local and federal health and sanitation laws.
• Handle additional duties as needed.

Qualifications :

• Associate degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent culinary experience.
• 3-5 years of culinary management experience, preferably in a high-volume cafe setting.
• Strong knowledge of current food and catering trends, with a focus on quality, production, sanitation, cost control, and presentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer operations.
• Experience in extensive catering and complex foodservice operations preferred.
• ServSafe certification is highly advantageous.
