As a Contract Analyst for the Cranial and Spinal Technologies sales organization, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic initiatives and enhancing the effectiveness of our capital and service strategies through comprehensive analytic, contracting, and business expertise.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and support the field team regarding capital and service quotes, programs, and compliance reviews.
This is an ideal role for someone who holds a high-attention to detail, and works effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
This position is open to remote within the US.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
- Administers, extends, and negotiates standard and non-standard contracts.
- Conducts complex capital and service proposal preparation and contract administration activities to provide for proper contract acquisition and fulfillment in accordance with company policies, legal requirements, and customer specifications.
- Prepares quotes, programs, processes specifications, progress, and other reports for leadership and marketing in a timely manner.
- Provides guidance to the sales team of contractual obligations; compiles and analyzes data and maintains historical information.
- Actively collaborate with internal stakeholders, facilitating communication and coordination.
- Assist and drive internal transformation and improvement initiatives on process, reporting, and tools that help deliver operational excellence for the sales team.
- Participate on internal calls with the field to discuss customer’s goals and assist in creating solutions regarding capital and service opportunities.
- Monitor contract performance and ensure timely renewals and amendments.
- Communicates with internal and external customers.
- May provide training to field partners and other employees within job area.
Must Have : Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree required
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 0 years of experience
Nice to Have
- Smartsheet, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Previous experience with SAP, PowerBI, and Salesforce
- Experience working in large, global, highly-matrixed organizational structure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with high-attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Medtronic policies and programs.
- Experience in the medical device industry.
- Knowledge of contract law.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
