Brief Overview of Position
The Financial Risk Oversight Sr. Analyst contributes to the ongoing independent review of the Company’s financial risk management activities conducted by Corporate Treasury.
These activities broadly include Liquidity Risk Management, Interest Rate Risk Management, and Capital Stress Testing. This is a high visibility position requiring a high degree of motivation, subject matter expertise, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the Company.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the oversight and independent review of the Company’s financial risk management activities
- Identify, measure and monitor risks across multiple financial risk areas
- Develop ALCO, Executive Risk Committee, and Board Committee presentations
- Participate in cross functional discussions and initiatives
- Assist in initiatives to address internal mandates and regulatory feedback
- Help drive and support ongoing improvement in the Companies financial risk management programs and practices

Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree required
- 3 to 5 years experience in financial risk management
- Advanced degree and professional certifications are a plus
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is required
- Basic understanding of financial risk management concepts and banking regulations
- Ability to effectively manage a heavy workload, multiple priorities, and substantial time pressure
- Solid interpersonal skills and the ability to foster relationships with diverse personalities and roles
- Effective verbal communication skills
- Ability to explain complex topics in a succinct and straightforward manner
- Ability to develop written and graphical representations of complex topics and to illustrate key insights
- Commitment to excellence, strong desire to grow professionally, and drive for continuous improvement
- Willingness to wear multiple hats to get the job done
