LHH Recruitment Solutions is looking for a Cash Application Specialist for a client of ours in the greater Cleveland, OH area.
This is a short term, 90-day contract position that is 100% onsite. Pay will vary depending on experience.
Responsibilities :
- Process daily cash receipts and update customer accounts accordingly.
- Identify and escalate issues related to payment discrepancies.
- Collaborate with various departments to troubleshoot and resolve customer payment issues.
- Utilize reports and online data to research payment discrepancies.
- Resolve unapplied payment issues efficiently.
- Handle inbound customer queries regarding cash application via phone or email.
- Make outbound calls to address cash application issues and customer account inquiries.
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Preferably skilled in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
- Familiarity with financial applications in ERP software (, SAP, Oracle) is advantageous.
- Demonstrates customer-centric behavior, fostering positive relationships and understanding customer needs.
- Handles challenging situations tactfully and professionally.
