We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer to join our team of experts. If you're passionate about network infrastructure, problem-solving, and maintaining seamless operations, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for.

Position Overview : As a NOC Engineer at Lincoln IT, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our clients' networks.

You will be responsible for monitoring network systems, diagnosing and resolving issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide exceptional support.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong technical background in network operations. Responsibilities : Monitor network infrastructure using various network management tools to ensure uptime and performance.

Detect and troubleshoot network incidents, identifying root causes and implementing timely resolutions. Escalate complex technical issues to senior team members or appropriate departments for resolution.

Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective incident response and communication. Maintain accurate documentation of network incidents, configurations, and resolutions.

Participate in on-call rotation to provide 24 / 7 support for network-related emergencies. Contribute to the continuous improvement of network monitoring processes and tools.

Requirements : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Proven experience as a NOC Engineer or similar role in a fast-paced environment. Strong knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and architectures.

Familiarity with network monitoring tools and technologies, Automate would be ideal. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex network issues.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Industry certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent are a plus. Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash) is an advantage.
