Trillium Construction is now hiring in Denmark, WI!
Our client specializes in commercial concrete construction and they are now looking to grow their office by bringing on a CAD Designer in Denmark, WI.
This is a full time office position working 40 hours a week with a generous hourly rate of $30 to $45 depending on experience plus benefits.
Duties :
- Utilize CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) to create precise and detailed construction drawings, plans, and models.
- Develop 2D and 3D drawings that accurately reflect project requirements, specifications, and design intent.
- Collaborate closely with the Sales and Estimating team to understand project scope and requirements.
- Prepare accurate quantity takeoffs and material lists based on the construction drawings.
- Review and revise drawings based on internal and external feedback and markups.
- Ensure that all drawings are up-to-date with the latest changes and revisions.
- Coordinate with the Estimator to incorporate changes into the cost estimation process.
- Work with other internal teams to obtain necessary information for drawing creation and revision.
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to resolve questions and design-related issues.
- Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to gather relevant design information and integrate it into the drawings.
- Conduct thorough checks and reviews of construction drawings to ensure accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, building codes, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and resolve any design conflicts or discrepancies.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and other project-related discussions as required.

Qualifications :
- Autocad and revit experience a must
- Background in concrete is a plus
- Must be willing to work outside JD and help out where it is needed
- Must be willing to be onsite, not available for remote work.
