Duties and Responsibilities
- Interface with external and internal project stakeholders to efficiently and effectively plan, price, produce and deliver on all aspects of a project’s requirements
- Working with internal production staff, ensure that deadlines being set are realistic and deliverable, and follow through with each project component to meet client expectations and maintain a manageable workflow
- Create and distribute a comprehensive production work order that will contain specific, pertinent, detailed information as it relates to the project from receipt of artwork to delivery of final graphics.
- Keep meticulous records of communication and project coordination for thorough documentation of all aspects of the project
- Communicate any project concerns, issues, delays, etc. to all parties involved, with an eye on timely resolution, always striving to maintain optimal outcomes
- Project Managers are responsible for any final quality control checks, ensuring best possible output and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to report on any concerns.
- Manage final project reconciliation and post-production invoicing in a timely manner
Experience and Qualifications Needed
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 2+ years of experience in project management, or equivalent combination of experience and formal education
- Experience working with graphics production / printing industry a plus, but not essential
- Experience with order management systems
- Exceptional organizational, time management and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to manage deadlines for multiple projects, overall workload and internal resources
- Ability to communicate project objectives and goals clearly to internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to monitor resource allocation and effectiveness
- Ability to manage multiple objectives in a fast-paced environment
