This job is remote. Looking for East Coast Candidates Only. This is a Contract job.
This position will work within the Environmental Permitting in support of the clients operations. The position will be tasked with conducting and / or managing a range of environmental and engineering-related endeavors associated with construction of transmission lines, substations and renewable energy.
Tasks will include but not be limited to :
Obtaining environmental permits (federal, state, local, etc.), leading environmental compliance, developing and negotiating mitigation strategies, threatened and endangered species consultation, erosion and sedimentation control plan development / review, stormwater management, avoidance and minimization measures, impact assessments, and regulatory / governmental agency coordination.

Four year degree in a related discipline required, with a minimum 8 years related professional work experience
Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
