Location : Burnsville, MN
Shift Times : Swing Shift (5 : 30am-6 : 00pm) and (5 : 15pm-6 : 00am)
- Week 1 Mon & Tues - ON, Wed & Thurs - OFF, Fri, Sat & Sun ON
- Week 2 Mon & Tues - OFF, Wed & Thurs - ON, Fri, Sat & Sun OFF
Type : Direct Hire
Pay : $80,000 - $95,000 per year
Responsibilities :
- Collaborate with the QA Manager to maintain a food safety-focused work environment.
- Develop processes and capabilities that meet or exceed customer requirements, recommending improvements as needed.
- Achieve and report daily performance metrics, conducting root cause analyses for underperforming processes.
- Build a highly capable organization through effective scheduling, training, hiring, and shift management.
- Engage with customers regarding ongoing work, new products, and production issues.
- Lead continuous improvement projects related to safety, quality, cost, and capital.
- Maintain clear expectations and accountability within the team, resolving conflicts and underperformance proactively.
- Prioritize human safety in all operations and material handling, fostering a culture of safety across the team.
- Ensure smooth shift transitions and completion of job responsibilities.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (technical or business), but not mandatory.
- Minimum 10 years of related manufacturing experience, ideally in the food processing industry.
- At least 6 years of leadership / management experience, with a minimum of 4 years as a manufacturing Supervisor.
- Proficient in ERP systems, PM systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Experienced with Continuous Improvement principles, TQM, and data analytics.
