Mechanical Test Technician
Volt is immediately hiring a Mechanical Test Technician in Lisle, Illinois.
In this role, you will be responsible for reading test plans to evaluate performance and reliability of terminals, connectors, and module level products / solutions under exposure to mechanical conditions.
The ideal candidate will have the following :
- Experience operating automated mechanical force test equipment and building mechanical fixturing
- Experience setting up and performing various mechanical tests including, but not limited to :
- Connector Mate / Unmate Force Test
- Terminal Insertion / Extraction Force Test
- Contact Beam Normal Force Test
- Automated and Manual Durability Cycling
- Cable Pull Force Test
- Automated Cable Flex Test
- Drop Test
- Experience completing product evaluation and performance analysis using test results and statistical analysis
- Troubleshooting and root cause failure analysis
This is a full-time onsite, long term, contingent role in Lisle, Illinois.
Pay Rate : $28.00 - $36.65 per hour.
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
