Job Description : We are seeking a skilled and experienced Audio Visual Installer with a strong focus on low voltage cabling to join our dynamic team.

Responsibilities :
- Install, terminate, and test low voltage cabling for audio visual systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optics, and coaxial cables.
- Mount and install AV equipment such as projectors, screens, speakers, displays, and control systems.
- Conduct site surveys to assess installation requirements and provide accurate project estimates.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure proper installation.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure timely and successful project completion.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to cabling and AV equipment.
- Perform regular maintenance and updates on installed systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience as an Audio Visual Installer with a focus on low voltage cabling.
- Proficient in installing, terminating, and testing various types of low voltage cables.
- Strong knowledge of AV systems, components, and installation techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Certification in AVIXA CTS, BICSI, or equivalent is a plus.

Many of these technicians are factory trained and certified to ensure that clients in Hawaii get the best possible service and maintenance for their installed technology.
AVCO employs certified sales and technical staff. As a member of the Infocomm AVolution certification process, our employees have achieved CTS and credentials to ensure that our projects have the highest standards in the industry.
