You'll be the go-to expert, advising on complex projects and using your advanced experience to make key decisions that drive success.

This role is all about creating unique, high-quality solutions that meet our clients' needs and make a difference in the world.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Lead the design and review of high-level, complex projects, ensuring they meet our exceptional quality standards.
  • Be a technical specialist, tackling challenges with advanced engineering concepts and innovative approaches.
  • Conduct cutting-edge research to stay ahead of industry trends and drive our projects forward.
  • Guide and mentor staff, sharing your expertise to help them grow and succeed.
  • Supervise and review the work of less experienced staff, ensuring everyone is on the path to excellence.
  • Utilize your vast understanding of wastewater technologies and associated software to drive project success.
  • Navigate the fast-paced industrial wastewater environment, managing shorter deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
  • Leverage your strong client-facing experience to build and maintain relationships, with existing market connections being a significant advantage.

We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being based out of any Olsson office location.

You bring to the team :

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well with a team.
  • Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Must be a registered professional engineer and have at least eight years of engineering experience with increasing responsibility.
  • Experience in mining, agriculture, data centers, advanced manufacturing, wood products, metal manufacturing, or chemical facilities is highly desirable.
  • Strong client-facing experience a plus.
