Johnson Service Group (JSG) a nationally recognized staffing firm is targeting a CNC Machinist for our global manufacturing client in the Alamo, TN area.
Responsibilities :
- Determine desired dimensions in assembly process
- Review work orders
- Monitor all machining equipment in section
- Train on all processes and procedures ex. Fork truck training
- Interpret blueprints
- Practice work place safety
- Maintain work station
- Work with aluminum stock, brass, bronze and cast-iron materials, raw steel, copper stock, and cleaning agents
- Provide machine information to cross-functional teams when needed
- Day to day assignments will be supervised as needed
Qualifications :
- Associates degree or Trade School education in Engineering, Manufacturing or related field
- 4 years of related experience
- Must be able to meet the requirements of a Code 9 machinist
