- Job Summary : To inspire and prepare each and every scholar with the confidence, courage, and competence to achieve their dreams;
- contribute to community; and engage in a lifetime of learning. Provide academic and / or social- emotional learning instruction and interventions in the curriculum area or program for which employed;
- design, deliver and assess curriculum according to district guideline; work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver instruction and interventions, when applicable;
- write and implement individual scholar goals and objectives as identified by data; monitor the fidelity of interventions, and collaborate with administrators to utilize data to identify scholars for intervention services;
- maintain contact and communication with guardians / caregivers of scholars, working with them in the development of their scholar;
- initiate and sustain collaboration within and across departments, programs, and sites to improve achievement; make appropriate use of instructional resources and technologies;
support and implement the goals and objectives of the School Improvement Plan (SIP), district, program and department; provide in-person, synchronous and asynchronous learning when applicable.
Willing to participate in district, building, and department leadership activities. Academic Support Teacher Minimum qualifications include : Bachelor’s Degree required MN teaching license OR willing to obtain an Out of Field Permission.
