Compensation includes a base salary of $64,200.00 - $96,400.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
Job Description
Join our dynamic team at Cox Enterprises as a Security Intelligence Analyst II! The ideal candidate should possess robust knowledge, skills, and abilities related to intelligence collection and analysis and be familiar with intelligence platforms and information technology systems, applications, and tools.
Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions :
- Demonstrate experience in intelligence collection and analysis, with a solid understanding of intelligence platforms and IT systems, applications, and tools.
- Analytical, evaluate, and apply decision-making skills to conduct accurate research, escalation, and communication.
- Support data analytics for risk calculations across various business units.
- Integrate long-term team goals into daily tasks while monitoring for potential issues that could affect normal operations or security controls.
- Identify and analyze relevant risks and vulnerabilities, producing actionable intelligence products in a timely manner to support enterprise-wide security operations.
- Conduct research using open-source intelligence, social media platforms, and deep / dark web sources to identify potential threats to company personnel, facilities, and operations.
- Monitor global events and operations that may impact international travel, corporate events, and company operations, providing timely and periodic reports.
- Provide ad-hoc intelligence analysis support to Executive Protection personnel and other key stakeholders.
- Correlate intelligence findings into concise summaries for internal teams, business leaders, key stakeholders, and executive leadership.
- Prepare and assist with requests for open-source analytic support.
- Participate in investigative support, after-action reviews, and information sharing.
- Identify and escalate potential issues found during open-source research.
- Collaborate on upcoming issues and events with potential security impacts.
- Implement policies, procedures, and systems to support and enhance the organizational mission.
- Interpret and apply relevant laws, orders, rules, and regulations to enterprise policy and procedure.
- Prepare clear, comprehensive reports and statistical data promptly.
- Analyze business operations and associated processes to identify security vulnerabilities and recommend prevention, mitigation, and recovery strategies.
- Occasionally perform duties outside of regular business hours based on events or potential impacts to the company.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in computer science with 2 years of related experience (public or private sector security experience in intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination).
Alternatively, a master's degree with up to 2 years of experience or 6 years of related field experience in (public or private sector security experience in intelligence collection, analysis, and dissemination).
- Experience monitoring multiple platforms across diverse business lines for potential impacts.
- Functional knowledge of mass notification tools.
- Proven self-starter with the ability to work under limited supervision, using initiative and independent judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive research and analysis using multiple unclassified sources and synthesize data into relevant information for stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to conduct briefings and present clear, concise, logic-based conclusions to support and inform executive decision-making.
- Strong knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent decision-making, interpersonal, written, verbal, presentation, and collaborative skills to work effectively with teams and external contacts.
- Adaptability, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively present information to senior management and enterprise security
