About the Role : RPA & Data Automation Engineer

The RPA & Data Automation Engineer will be a key player in our team, responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions and managing database operations.

This role requires a hands-on, self-motivated individual with advanced SQL and database management skills, along with experience in RPA automation using UiPath.

The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously, identify opportunities for improvement, and build innovative solutions to address business challenges.

Responsibilities :

Robotic Process Automation (RPA) :

  • Design, develop, and deploy RPA solutions using UiPath to automate repetitive and manual business processes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and gather requirements.
  • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for RPA workflows and processes.
  • Test and debug RPA solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy.
  • Monitor RPA processes, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support and maintenance.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve automation solutions for efficiency and effectiveness.

Database Management :

  • Administer and optimize SQL databases to ensure data integrity, performance, and availability.
  • Develop and execute complex SQL queries and scripts for data analysis, reporting, and extraction.
  • Design and implement database structures, schemas, and solutions to meet business needs.
  • Perform regular database maintenance tasks, including backups, indexing, and performance tuning.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database issues and performance bottlenecks.
  • Work closely with external development teams to integrate database solutions with automation processes.

General Responsibilities :

  • Identify and analyze business problems and opportunities for automation and data management improvements.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency and scalability.
  • Work autonomously and take ownership of projects from conception to implementation.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in RPA and database management.
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive project success.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in working with back-office business support processes.
  • 1+ year of experience in process design and improvement.
  • Proven experience with RPA development tools (UiPath, Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, Microsoft Power Automate, etc.)

Required Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

  • Advanced proficiency in SQL and extensive experience with database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience in a rapidly growing or Private Equity-backed environment is a plus.

Preferred Skills :

  • UiPath Advanced Developer certification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of additional RPA tools or technologies.
  • Experience with data warehousing and business intelligence.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based database services (e.g., Azure SQL, AWS RDS).
