Job Description : &

• We are seeking an experienced Sr. QA professional specializing in Functional Testing and Test Planning for a challenging role in Charlotte, NC.&
• The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Retirement, Group Insurance, and Institutional Banking domains, with a focus on ensuring that applications meet the highest standards of quality and functionality.&
• This role involves test planning, execution, and coordination with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.&

Key Responsibilities : &

• Test Planning and Strategy : & Develop comprehensive test plans and strategies for functional testing, ensuring alignment with project requirements and timelines in the Retirement, Group Insurance, and Institutional Banking domains.&
• Functional Testing : & Execute functional testing activities, including writing and executing test cases, verifying functionality against requirements, and logging defects.&
• Test Automation : & Collaborate with automation engineers to integrate automated functional tests into the test strategy, ensuring efficient and repeatable testing processes.&
• Coordination and Communication : & Work closely with development teams, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure thorough test coverage.&
• Defect Management : & Identify, document, and track defects, ensuring they are resolved in a timely manner. Provide detailed reports on test execution and defect status.&
• Risk Management : & Identify potential risks in the testing process and develop mitigation strategies to address them.&
• Compliance and Standards : & Ensure that all testing activities adhere to industry standards and regulatory requirements specific to the Retirement, Group Insurance, and Institutional Banking sectors.&
• Continuous Improvement : & Recommend and implement improvements to the testing process, tools, and techniques to enhance the quality and efficiency of the testing efforts.&

Experience : &

Significant experience in the Retirement, Group Insurance, and Institutional Banking domains.&

Technical Skills : &

• Strong knowledge of functional testing methodologies and tools.&
• Experience with test management tools like HP ALM, JIRA, or TestRail.&
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP / UFT, or Test Complete.&
• Solid understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.&
• Preferred Qualifications : &
• Certification in Quality Assurance (e.g., ISTQB Certified Tester).&
• Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.&
• Familiarity with performance and security testing.&
