Consultant
Position Description : ThinkTek is seeking a Consultant to support a contract with the IRS.
The experience expected from applicants, as well as additional skills and qualifications needed for this job are listed below.
Responsibilities
- The Consultant will advise IRS Senior Leaders about ways to improve the overall business model, employee relations, or other facets of day-to-day operations, with a focus on acquisition policy analysis and development.
- The Consultant will be required to troubleshoot specific problems and improve efficiencies.
- The Consultant should be able to work independently and provide constructive feedback to the team on federal acquisition policies and processes.
Required
- Five (5) years of experience in federal acquisition policy.
- Consultant shall have experience on contracts of similar size or scope with experience in federal acquisition.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (public policy, international relations, or business).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience with training and facilitating with internal and external audiences.
- Must have a fundamental understanding of the federal acquisition life cycle process, procurement best practices, and related policies.
Desired
- Experience with USG acquisition policies and processes.
- PMP.
