Job Description

HII Mission Technologies Division is seeking a Reliability Engineer in support of a large Operations and Maintenance Contract within Mission Technologies.

Position(s) will be based at global Army training site in Orlando, FL. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Essential Job Responsibilities

  • This role encompasses deploying expertise in maintenance, reliability, failure analysis, and lifecycle analysis to enhance the performance and dependability of TADSS and GFP.
  • Accountable for scheduled maintenance and preventive maintenance, the Reliability Engineer ensures interoperable functionality, while also managing and refining FRACAS to streamline corrective action processes.
  • The role involves tracking parts consumption, maintaining documentation, and deploying technical support to troubleshoot maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Additionally, the engineer provides reporting on repair action costs, particularly for high-cost scenarios, justifying the economic feasibility of corrective actions taken.
  • In ICS maintenance support, the role guarantees that TADSS and GFP consistently remain in FMC condition, includes inventory management, and offers comprehensive analysis of issues arising during ICS.
  • The role actively contributes to technology refreshment through market research and cost-effective engineering analysis, and maintains up-to-date maintenance instructions to ensure effective operation and maintenance of TADSS.

Minimum Qualifications

2 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 0 years experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years relevant experience.
