Our confidential client is seeking a Temporary Computer Systems Analyst in the Lathrop, CA region .
This role is approximately a 3-month term , with the possibility of full-time hire once the department restructure is complete.
Job duties include but are not limited to :
- Provide first-line technical support to factory employees, resolving issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and applications.
- Provide training and support to employees on the use of IT systems and equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose computer and network problems, identifying and implementing solutions.
- Respond to help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner, documenting all interactions and resolutions.
- Assist users with software installations, updates, and configurations.
- Help to manage and maintain server infrastructure, including hardware, operating systems, and applications.
- Monitor system performance and health, identifying and addressing any issues proactively.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
- Implement and enforce IT security policies and procedures.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and optimize network performance.
- Implement and maintain network security measures.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including user guides, procedures, and knowledge base articles.
- Coordinate with IT vendors and service providers to resolve issues and ensure timely maintenance.
- Evaluate and recommend new hardware, software, and services as needed.
Competitive pay for this position from $65 - 80k per year DOE.

Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in help desk or system administration role.
- Strong technical knowledge of hardware, software, networking, and security.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
- Strong customer service orientation.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
