Key Responsibilities :
- Advocate for company's mission and business objectives.
- Initiate and foster new customer and corporate relationships.
- Advance opportunities through the sales cycle.
- Support business unit leaders in transaction completion.
- Identify customer needs and recommend or demonstrate relevant products and applications.
- Maintain and update business development records, including customer communications and contact information.
- Provide regular updates to management on prospecting activities.
- Attend virtual and in-person industry events, when safe and appropriate.
- Prepare proposals and maintain customer contact portals.
- Determine the technical requirements of customers and suggest suitable products.
- Explain complex technical information to customers.
- Follow up with customers and resolve any arising issues.
- Keep customers informed about new technological products.
- Compile proposals and reports related to technical products.
- Maintain periodic contact with customers throughout project durations.
- Ensure consistent achievement of sales targets and maintain ongoing interaction with the sales team.
Requirements :
- BS / BA in Engineering or a related field (alternative degrees considered with relevant technology experience).
- Minimum of 2-3 years of sales or marketing experience.
- Knowledge of sales promotion and business development techniques.
- Technical knowledge and a comprehensive understanding of the company’s products.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to identify and follow up on leads.
- Exceptional skills in relating company capabilities to customers.
- Excellent presentation skills and a professional appearance.
- Valid driver’s license and passport, with willingness to travel extensively (up to 50% based on business needs).
