Overview :
This role will unlock new business opportunities by finding contact information for potential cannabis business clients.
As an associate lead generation specialist, you will be responsible for researching point of contact information for potential clients.
A list of potential clients will be provided to the associate lead generation specialist.
The impact you will make :
- Conduct online and phone research to discover contact details to share with business development representatives
- Collect and compile contact information for assigned cannabis business leads.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of the collected data.
- Schedule appointments for the Outbound Sales team to connect with qualified cannabis business leads.
- Coordinate with leads and the sales team to ensure mutually convenient times for meetings.
- Maintain detailed and accurate notes on all interactions with leads.
- Update CRM or lead management systems regularly to reflect the latest status and information.
- Work closely with the Outbound Sales team to ensure a smooth transition of qualified leads.
- Monitor the progress of leads through the sales pipeline and ensure they are converting to paying accounts.
- Provide feedback and insights to the sales team to help improve lead conversion strategies.
- Track key performance metrics related to lead generation and appointment setting.
- Report on the effectiveness of lead generation strategies and suggest improvements.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging businesses.
- Ensure a high level of customer service and professionalism in all interactions.
What you’ve accomplished
- Familiarity with Google Spreadsheets
- Understanding of sales performance metrics
- Excellent communication and listening skills
- Previous online research experience
Bonus Points
- Previous cannabis industry experience
- Experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
- Lead generation or sales team experience preferred
The base pay range for this position is $19.71 to $23.08 per hour
