Responsibilities
Essential Duties & Job Functions :
- Briefs Airfield Management (AM) personnel on emergency and operational activities.
- Conducts and documents a shift change briefing prior to signing off-duty, conduct airfield inspections and checks.
- Monitors and coordinates airfield and aircraft activities, processing flight plans, providing flight following services, initiating actions for overdue aircraft.
- Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Job Requirements
Mandatory :
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional and courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Ability to acquire and maintain government identification / common access card.
- Ability to deal with a variety of people in a professional, courteous manner in diversified situations.
- Valid Alabama state Driver’s License with acceptable driving record pertinent to the position.
- Ability to successfully pass any background checks and / or drug testing required on the contract.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to obtain access to U.S. Government Installations through the Defense Biometric Identification System (DBIDS).
