Duties and Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee a caseload of litigation matters, including civil and commercial cases.
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and analyze case law to support litigation strategies.
- Represent clients in court hearings, depositions, and trials.
- Develop case strategies and provide legal advice to clients.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and other team members to ensure case objectives are met.
- Negotiate settlements and engage in alternative dispute resolution as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and trends relevant to practice areas.
- Assist in mentoring junior associates and paralegals.
Requirements :
- Minimum of 3+ years of litigation experience, focusing on civil and commercial cases.
- Strong writing, research, and analytical skills.
- Proven ability to handle complex litigation matters.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Wisconsin Bar admission is required.
Education :
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Strong academic performance throughout law school.
Certifications :
Admission to the Wisconsin Bar.
