Job Description

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

  • Accounting for multiple entities, including invoicing, bank deposits and payments, journal entries and account reconciliation.
  • Prepare internal and external financial statements for review.
  • Prepare and provide support for partnership tax returns and audited financial statements.
  • Communicate with third parties regarding reporting to be received.
  • Prepare entries for consolidating financial statement process.
  • Participate on projects requiring analysis and knowledge of GAAP and income tax principles.

Requirements

Required Skills :

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
  • Team player and positive attitude.
  • Knowledge of GAAP.
  • Ability to use various financial accounting software packages.
  • Understanding of automated accounting systems such as Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
  • Familiarity with partnership tax returns is an advantage.

Required Experience :

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance related field and a minimum one year of financial service or public company experience.
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
