Job Description : Days 8 : 30 - 5 pm40 hours weeklyM-F rotate weekend calPrescribes, delegates, and coordinates nursing care of patients participates in patient and family teaching : and provides leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary, nursing, and other patient-team personnel in maintaining standards for professional nursing practice in the clinical setting.
Duties : * Assessment and identification of patient needs and implementation of appropriate interventions considering the needs of patient populations per department scope of service* Assures that nursing care interventions and activities are directed to resolve problems* Performs technical aspects of care competently* Delegation of nursing care activities and provisions of supervision.
Requirements : * Current RN licensure recognized by the Kentucky State Board of Nursing is required.* Oncology Nursing Certification preferred* Three years of experience med / surg or oncology nursing experience preferred.
