Key Responsibilities

10+ years of experience in managing municipal, residential and site engineering projects
The Senior Engineer / Project Manager will be responsible to define project objectives, prepare proposals, define project timelines, monitor project budgets and timelines
Responsible for reviewing and approving staff hours and project expenses, review project technical accuracy, ensure that all project tasks are completed, ensure that all bidding documents / specifications are prepared, perform Construction Administration of Municipal Projects
Proficient with reviewing plans submitted by outside design firms, communicate with management, clients and other staff, approve monthly invoices, and coach, mentor, and direct project team members
In addition, the Senior Engineer / Project Manager will be expected to assist the Designated Municipal Engineers by attending city meetings when requested, preparing cost estimates, preparing grant applications, and communicating with residents.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
PE strongly preferred
