We are currently recruiting for Oncology Pharmacist candidates who possess chemotherapy / oncology experience in an outpatient setting.
This position will work collaboratively with our physicians, nurse practitioners, oncology nurses, and other pharmacists as we provide infusion and oral oncolytic services for patients in our clinic.
In this role, the clinical oncology pharmacist will serve as a resource to the interdisciplinary team, and other pharmacists while delivering innovative practices that ensure safe and optimal medication management for the population we serve.
in this role , the Oncology Pharmacist will : Review All chemotherapy orders prior to patients' treatment visit, Work Collaboratively with physicians and advance practice providers to ensure safe and optimal medication management for the populations we serve, Engage in Direct patient care for patients receiving both intravenous and oral oncolytic therapy, Participate in both operational and clinical duties of an oncology pharmacist .
including accreditation readiness for both the infusion and oral oncolytic services we provide. Drive educational activities for all staff, including other pharmacists, physicians, advance practice providers, and infusion and triage nursing staff.

This position will be on-site Mon-Fri day shift(roughly 7 : 30am and 5 : 00pm) No weekend work is required and Columbus Oncology and Hematology Associates full-time staff enjoy 8 paid holidays off.

Requirements include : Ohio-licensed registered pharmacist Strong chemotherapy and oncology background with 2-3 years of hospital / infusion pharmacy experience Effective communication and delegation skills Preferences include : BCOP certification Previous experience with aseptic techniques / sterile product admixture / USP
