Location : Boca Raton, FL

Schedule : Full-time, M-F 10 : 00 AM - 6 : 30 PM (every other weekend rotation)

Salary Range : $18.50 - $20.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus : $1,000

Description :

Guardian Pharmacy of Southeast Florida is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for Data Entry and Triage in their closed-door pharmacy.

This position is responsible for evaluating and prioritizing incoming fax prescriptions, ensuring their accurate and timely entry, and managing customer service requests over the phone.

Candidates will interact with healthcare facilities and patients in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Key responsibilities include :

• Triaging incoming fax prescriptions for timely entry into the pharmacy system.
• Routing phone calls to the appropriate department or individual.
• Managing refill requests, researching questions, and resolving customer complaints.
• Prioritizing and responding to prescription inquiries from healthcare facilities.
• Managing various queues in Docutrack, including refill reviews and "STAT" orders.
• Communicating patient updates and changes with pharmacy customer service staff.
• Reviewing orders for completeness and managing non-discretionary calls to facilities.

Requirements :

• Experience : At least 2 years of experience as a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT), preferably in a high-volume setting.
• Certification : Must hold a valid Florida Registered Pharmacy Technician license.
• Technical Skills : Strong computer skills, including proficiency in pharmacy operations systems.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-Solving : Ability to resolve issues in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Attendance : Ability to work assigned shifts with minimal absences or tardiness.

• High-volume, fast-paced setting with comprehensive side-by-side training provided.
