Job Description :
- Patient Assessment : Evaluate patients' speech, language, and communication disorders to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Therapy Implementation : Provide direct speech and language therapy services to patients of all ages.
- Progress Monitoring : Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Collaboration : Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive patient treatment.
- Patient Education : Educate patients and their families on techniques and activities to support ongoing therapy at home.
- Compliance : Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and maintain accurate patient records.
Education and Certification Requirements :
- Graduate Degree : Graduate of a professional course of education in speech, hearing science, and language development culminating in a minimum of a master's degree.
- Montana State License : Valid Montana state license or equivalent in Speech / Language Pathology services.
- Certification : Certification by the American Speech / Language / Hearing Association (CCC).
